We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our Engineering team in OiTec headquarters in Kirkkonummi
As a Project Manager, you will lead test and automation system development projects from planning through execution to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and successfully.
We are seeking a hands-on professional for a permanent position who combines technical/electrical expertise with a structured approach to project management.
The typical outcome of our projects is a physical test system or automation solution that integrates electronics, mechanics, and software — delivered to the customer fully operational and ready for use. You will work closely with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Lead test and automation system development projects
- Coordinate electronics, mechanical, and software development activities within the project
- Take full ownership of project schedule, budget, and overall progress
- Plan and manage project scope, resources, and priorities to ensure efficient execution
- Facilitate effective stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Organize project meetings, design reviews, and status updates
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through proactive risk identification and mitigation
- Manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs in a controlled and transparent manner
- Close projects systematically and conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Strong teamwork and project management skills
- Experience in electronics and embedded systems, including testing of electronic systems
- Proven experience in managing technical development projects from concept and design to delivery
- Systematic and structured way of working
- Good communication skills in both Finnish and English
- Suitable technical degree (BSc or MSc in Engineering)
- Understanding of industrial automation system development is considered an advantage
